Ferran Agúndez
Founder of the Judo Management method
Starting my professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the financial area, for the past 20 years I have held various positions in industrial companies, managing commercial and operations teams with a focus on projects and the development of sales channels.
Currently, combining my experience and passion, I offer training to improve management by applying the ideals of Judo: efficient use of energy and progress through cooperation. “Yield to win” — Jigoro Kano.
I am an accredited advisor by ACCIÓ – Agency for Business Competitiveness, and part of the team at Abinitio Consulting.
Advisory Council
The members of the Judo Management Advisory Council are judokas who have experienced the incredible parallel between our professional careers and judo.
In the advisory council, we share ideas and experiences around the application of judo to all types of organizations: companies, non-profits, professional associations, universities, and educational centers.
Our goal is to generate new content to enrich our experience and share it with society, following one of Judo’s principles, “jita kyoei” – mutual support for progress.
Willem Visser

He is an 8th Dan in Judo, a four-time Olympic Judo coach, and trains executives, board members, directors, and managers. His goal as a coach is to enhance performance and learning opportunities for others, while also expanding leaders’ effectiveness in teaching or improving management skills to aid others in their development.
Willem has led coaching projects for various renowned companies and has been a guest lecturer at top universities in the Netherlands and abroad. He has also worked as an executive for the Department of Justice, the Police, private companies, and national and international sports federations.
In these roles, he developed a method for achieving self-management:
– Key objective: through group functionality, self-discipline, and self-assessment, individuals can reach responsible self-determination.
Many executives have advanced to higher levels using this method, which he also applied in his Olympic coaching activities.
